About European Study GroupWhat is European Study Group?Established in 1990, we provide the bridge between employers and the lawmakers in both Brussels and Whitehall.We arrange regular meetings to debate workplace legislation issues, review policy and put forward our members' views to the European Commission and Parliament, and the UK Government. Our members are mainly large multinational private-sector employers – including FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies – and operate across a wide spectrum of industries and services in the UK, continental Europe and throughout the world. Together they employ some 2.5 million people. European Study Group has been instrumental in bringing Industry and the Government together in Brussels and London while employment law is either being drafted or reviewed. Its goal is to achieve law that is practical for the workplace.
